And don't forget to feed the pig!

Hey everyone!
Wondered how our game growing defense would have looked like, if the animations were done in time? Well - we were curious and added a separate updated version to our submission along with the original one!

Check out our updated version (removing an unintended sound effect and added visuals, gameplay was not touched) - we uploaded builds for linux, mac and windows as well if you want to check it out natively.
Thank you for all your feedback so far, we really appreciate it and feel encouraged to continue development!
Best regards - @fis & @nivbeth
Edit: oh boy - the link ofcourse! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/growing-defense
Oh god we did it. Our third LDJam - and we are incredibly proud of it. Digging In!

This game was created using the freshly released godotengine 3.3 - please tell us what you think about it :3 https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/48/digging-in
Have you tried the drillcat already? :smile_cat:

If you are curious what tools we used - that should be all of it:
And of course the best friend of everyone:

Please check it out!

You've got only 72 hours - don't make anything too large. Thinking about creating a platformer? Especially a 3d platformer? You think too big they said. Make something more appropriate to your time budget they said.
We did not listen - we made a 3d platformer, and it was good. We learned a lot and are proud to present catastrophy. Sadly the physics were not in our favor so the "unstable" map destroys not enough to our liking.
But never the less, please check out our cat-content game :cat: (and use a controller if you have one!)

Can't figure out how to save the one on the locker below the vent?

Try it out on your own! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/catastrophy
(now with linux, windows and osx binaries along the web version!)
Hey everyone,
we'd like to thank all testers of our game for their feedback, we just updated the game with a few bugfixes and an additional indicator regarding the placeable amount of traps!
Please check it out how to stop karen!

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/50/stopping-karen
Thanks <3
Hey everyone!
We added a much requested feature to speed up karen for optimizing your trap placement (and a manual camera mode to prevent nausea). Since this is not a bugfix we preserved the original version as v0.1.0 and added additional links for v0.2.0. The game logic stayed the same, you just don't have to wait so long for termination!

Best regards @fis, @nivbeth, @peacememories, @fluffymadness
Edit: Oh... and check out here >:3 https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/50/stopping-karen
It has been a journey for three days! So - Godotengine 4 beta 2 released just in time for LD51 and we wanted to enjoy all these fancy new features - since the beta version also shipped with the webexporter. Sadly, after the first day of work, we encountered four bugs/issues that forced us to downgrade. Lots of hours were invested so take an advice: don't use beta software for a gamejam.
While this was bad for the jam itself - it is of course very good for the engine, since bugs have been identified and count towards engine development.
Bake-o-mancer is our first cardgame - most of our time was invested in the basic functions and game loop. Only the last hours were used to generate the content, but in the end all previously done work made adding content very easily. Sadly, there wasn't enough time for further balancing so the game itself is pretty hard.
Please check it out - we'd love to hear some feedback!

Since our animations in the game are quite small I wanted to share it this way.

Thank you so much for your feedback so far! Each time we join ludum dare we learn something new about how to focus and what is more important than other things.
This time I can definitely say that omitting the sound effects wasn't a good idea. I guess next time we will start with focusing on a MVP and extend afterwards if there is time left. Managing and planning what parts should be done first is the hardest part in my opinion.
If you haven't tried yet - please check out our game Moonlight!
Our ninth participation, and like every time I realize, that I just love making games (and animations).
