I’m in too

This will be my fifth game jam and my first (and definitely not last) Ludum Dare. I plan on submitting to the compo, even though there’s no voting.

Engines: Godot (3D) or Haxe (2D or 2.5D)
Graphics: Blender, Gimp, and mtpaint
Sound: LMMS and Audacity

McFunkypants looks like he just smoked a tree (maybe it’s the beard), but I’m sure I’ll be in worse shape after I consume caffeine from up to 5 different sources for >48 hours. It’s time to get crunked.

I need the third day

Turns out first-person shooter frameworks don’t come about on their own, even with a graphical engine like Godot. Sorry for keeping everyone in the dark, but this is all I can show you for now:

didn’t think it would turn out this way

My ISP apparently blocks uploading files larger than 5 MB (or the feds are on to my nefarious activities), which is just as well because I was unable to implement combat, animations, AI, or any form of gameplay, for two reasons:

1. Godot’s hierarchical interface cut into time I could have spent doing actual coding.

2. My own over-planning cut into time I could have spent making models.

So instead I give you a screenshot representing what I was able to accomplish in the last 72 hours:

Pretty cool hammer though, right?
