If I remember, I'll post a version after the jam is done, so you can see how messy it really gets :P

I'm really looking forward to this! I'm trying to be as planned as possible in advance, so I can spend the time developing with little to no distractions! Let's see how that goes.

Remember to take lots of breaks! You're all gonna do awesome! Let's make some games!

I'm in?

I have done 22 of these jams now. I always aim to make something big and unique mechanically. And I always end up rushing and failing to make it a 'full' game.

I'm not going to aim for anything crazy this time. I want to make a small narrative game, no unique mechanics, but somewhat polished. My girlfriend @frankydink will be helping me with all aspects except music.

There will be a relatively interesting thing about this game, that you'll see when I release it, but it won't blow peoples mind.

I will rate a lot of games, because I'm usually pretty bad for that.

The game is about a cat.

I wish everyone luck.

Ludum Dare 48

An Entire Thing

Hello! I've been doing LDJam since 2011 or so, under various names. It's basically responsible for kickstarting my whole career. I've typically done the 72hour jam with a few friends in recent history, so going back to the Compo is going to be tough!

Going with something kinda Descent-y I think. No idea what I'm capable of solo so let's see what the result is!

Best of luck to everyone else in the Jam <3

Ludum Dare 56

I'm in

Let's go!

This is my first Ludum Dare since LDJam 48. It's been 3 years? I used to do these quite regularly, either as part of a team or solo. I really enjoyed them, but I've been too busy getting a degree to really join in.

I'm very out of practice, I haven't made a game since that last Ludum Dare, so I'm understandably anxious about it all! I hope I make something of meaning.

I've been doing Ludum Dare on and off since 2012 or so, it's wild to see how much it's changed in that over a decade. I don't plan on ever giving up on it!

I've had a quick look through the themes and I have some ideas. I'll likely be working with one of my partners for art on this, and maybe doing some audio myself.

Let's make some games!
