UNSUSTAINABLE: a god job is now LIVE!

:mega: We are really proud to announce that our game, UNSUSTAINABLE: a god job is available to play! :sparkles:

MicrosoftTeams-image (18) (1).png

We created the game with a team of 4 programmers, 1 artist and 1 product owner (who helped shape the game mechanics and keep us on track).

:earth_africa: Heavily influenced by games of the early 90s, this is a fast-paced arcade game that will hopefully keep you on your toes! :trophy:

The art of UNSUSTAINABLE: a god job

First, I want to thank everyone who played our game and left us some feedback! You guys are awesome

We had a lot of nice comments about the art, so I want to hightlight some of @Tayteus' creations :pencil2:

It was a challenge for him to deliver pixel art over the week-end, as he's more used to producing Bandes Dessinées (also known as comics in English speaking countries  )

He's an example of his usual style:

(stolen from his instagram account)

In UNSUSTAINABLE: a god job, he drew every piece of art by hand using a Cintiq pen display, over a canvas of 288 x 162 pixels :sparkles:

Here's the sprite of the cat we included in the background of the game:

Yes, that is the raw sprite!

Here's a larger rendering of the drawing, so you can look at it in details, and the 8 animated frames:

Finally, here's the in-game rendering, thanks to the wonderful Unity pipeline:

Once again, thanks to everyone who already gave us a review! For everyone else, you can find the game right here.

See you soon!

It's the final countdown!

Once again, we want to thank everyone who played our game and rated us

UNSUSTAINABLE: a god job

As the new guy in the office, you have to help your boss prevent catastrophes from occuring on Earth. To do so, you have to play mini-games on three different machines, a la Warioware

If you haven't checked it out already, don't hesitate to give it a try (it's short, about 5 minutes), and leave us some feedback!

We've compiled a short video of the 48 hours we streamed on twitch, if you want to look into the creation process

Overall, it was a great experience for our second ever game jam, and we can't wait for Ludum Dare 50 next year
