Ludum Dare 56

My first Ludum Dare!

Oh my, a moment I've been looking forward to for a verrrrry long time: helping on making a video game. I'll be joining 2 Ludum Dare-veterans, who happen to be an awesome couple. What better way to learn, right?

I'm so glad I can join Tobugis aka indie developer Togis and designer Burchyn. I'll be working on story and, if time left, some music.

I wish you all the best. Hope you're looking forward to our project :heartbeat:

What is your tiny creature?

What tiny creature(s) did you go for? Is it an existing creature? An animal or something else?

We went full potato who gets help from animals :stuckouttonguewinkingeye:

Follow burchyn and togis on this site. They are the couple I'm working with

This was my first Ludum Dare ever!

Wow, my first Ludum Dare was an amazing experience. I finally made a dream come true: be part of the creation of a video game. And all thanks to @togis and @burchyn who were the best team mates for my very first (LD) experience. It is also crazy fun to see how most people are wholesome in this community. Thank you for the positive reactions :)

I hope this post gets seen, as there were some issues showing my posts during the LD. In case you missed my posts: we made Fry Quest, a game about a potato who wants to become a Belgian fry. We made a clickable story with amazing art and very enjoyable minigames.

Do try it.... Rumors say that if you do not play the game within 7 days, that you might up end up as a mashed potato in this or a next life.

Sauce post

You might have noticed in our game Fry Quest that we are proud Belgians and love Belgian fries. In Belgium we eat our fries with a sauce, and honestly we have A LOT of different sauces, compared to other countries. Apart from ketchup and mayonnaise, we have cocktail sauce, bearnaise sauce, mushroom sauce, brasil sauce, andalouse sauce, joppie sauce and way more than that.

But what I would like to know: *what is your favorite sauce for your Belgian/french fries? *

By the way: discover how this un-peel-ievable potato becomes a Belgian fry by playing our game Fry Quest: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/fry-quest
