Hell yeah, I’m in, first Ludum Dare 42, to make my first game :)
Will be learning and using these lovely pieces of open source software along the way:
- Godot 3
- Inkscape, Gimp, Blender
- LMMS, Audacity, and my mouth :)

I don't know why I have a tune in my head that would suit the theme, but nothing more :D

Almost 6 hours in, and I just finished a 2 minutes theme song that can loop (almost) :D The few LMMS tutorials that I watched today turned out to be useful. Still 0 line of code and no graphics though.
It's very simple, but I'm quite happy with a result for a first game, all from scratch, with unfamiliar software :)

I wish there where more web exports that I can test directly in browser.
Most of the games only have Windows exports, and people like me, on linux, need some kind of a VM. And we all know how that sucks right? :)
Unity devs, you have no excuse, add some Web exports please :)

Glad to see more and more people using the Godot Game Engine. It's a really great engine, and the fact that it's open source and runs on all platforms is worth a 1000 points. Plus, the small size is a huge ++.
Every LDJam, I feel like there are more submissions using it, and it makes me happy.

Unrelated to LD47, but I just finished a simple version of Game Of Life, as a tribute to the legendary John Conway.

It's made using the latest version of Godot (3.2.4-beta) which was released a couple of hours ago.
