Thallas. My first jam experience and impressions

You can play and rate the game here: ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/57/thallas

coverfile.png It was interesting to try our hand at development in such a short amount of time, considering we've never done a full-fledged minigame before. There were a lot of plans at the beginning of development, but unfortunately a lot of things were not realized The most interesting part was to apply my new concept art skills in the development, everything was created using different photobash and the result was impressive. During the development I managed to learn to work in programs for rig animation and it was a very interesting and useful experience. With little effort you can create really impressive animations Behemoth_031.png The biggest challenge for an artist is coming up with a gamedesign. Unfortunately it didn't work for me, I had a visual idea of what the game should look like to create an interesting visual experience for the players, but I completely forgot that I needed to create interesting progression and rewards for the players for their efforts. The game ended up being very conceptual Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the experience I had and visually the game did come out interesting. Events like this are a good way to test your skills and abilities and make something interesting in a couple days. I think I learned a lot for myself and something I can apply in the future. And you can rate the game at the link and write your feedback. I will be very happy to hear what you liked and what you didn't like, it will be very useful and I will try to take everything into account in future jam sessions
