Heyllo People! I think since its less than 5 hours away from start of jam I might as well just say something!

By the way important thing to anyone new thats nervous: You don't gonna be nervous this is a good community of people and you will do as good as you can and when you finish be happy you finished a game (if its ur first game you finished if not still good to finish games), even if you dont think your game will be to standard of the ludum dare games it will be just fine and you will do good! This is perfect practice for people who have never finished a game to just dip their feet into the water and get going and show the world what you have!

With that out of the way

Just gonna say a few things about me I am a begginer maybe just kind of close to intermediate game developer. I will be competing in the jam with a friend who will be doing the art, I will be doing the programming. I think this is my 3rd ludum dare or 4th? I just dont have the account I used for the old ones.

I will be using Unity to make a game, ik very surprising. Hoping this will be my best game jam game so far, ive been practicing for this ludum dare. I will be streaming it on twitch @ https://www.twitch.tv/heyllopotato I guess if you wanna watch other people making a game while you make a game.

One last thing is hope you also find some really fun games and make sure to rate other peoples games because its always good to rate other peoples games, not just post your game and move on to the next thing because people post some awesome games and you can find fun games that you really like.

We just launched our game for the jam named "Teddy?" Hope everyone else's game is going well and its not a bumpy process uploading the game and launching it!

So this ludum dare me and my friend made a platformer for the jam! It's a platformer where where you loop back to the start after meeting with an old dude!

Just wanted to say that- but also comment a link to your game and I'll play and rate it!

This was our Ludum Dare 47th entry and I just did a small update to fix the hitboxes which was the biggest complaint and I also added coyote time! This was our best performing entry we have made and are happy how it turned out! https://heyllopotato.itch.io/passerby

So me and my friend made Cavin' for this LD. Cavin' is a little adventure game where you use glow worms to "grapple" yourself past the levels. I say "grapple" in "" because the unique part about the game is you don't need to grapple onto objects, and you can grapple elsewhere halfway through your grapple.

We've gotten some good feedback so far especially on how the 3rd level is difficult. So if you try our game I made a little guide to level 3 in the comments if you want it!
