probably forgotten to mention something important. I am really incompetent. okay

I’ve been gameplay-“complete” for a while now. I just need to make the final push to get the game polished, tweaked and adjusted, which is usually the bit I like to come back to after a few days. No such luxury here.
the player controls the lavender-coloured particle-emitting square using the arrow keys. Movement is slidy — you keep moving until you hit something, be it a white square (a stationary obstacle), a blue pickup (adds seconds to the counter when collided with, vanishes, slides across the screen) or a yellow pickup (adds to the score). The numbers in the centre of the screen are time left and score. Time starts at 10.
Hopefully you get the idea. I’d love suggestions, not that there’s time to implement them. I definitely need to fix the pickup-spawning function, which is only spawning on the left and top sides of the screen.
Looking forward to seeing other people’s submissions!
I can’t do it anymore.
I guess it’s kinda finished.
Definitely going to see what I can do with it post-Dare. I feel it would make a good web game, like, with an online scoreboard, and more things.
Lots to learn about Love2D. Feel like I’ve found a framework I can stick with. Coding in Lua is fast, free, sloppy, speedy.
Anyway.
