Ludum Dare 45

Great Job Everyone!

I've been so impressed by the breadth of talent, ideas, and games I've been playing. This is my first ludum dare, and it's been a great experience. Definitely feeling energized to make more games in the future after seeing all these, and I bet there's a lot I can learn from the community of devs here too. I've seen so many things I didn't even think were possible to do in jam time!

It's also so cool that the jam takes place in October because there's tons of spooky and witchy games.

The one Swanijam and I made is playable here

How did you prototype your game???

Did you prototype it at all, or just think of an idea and jump in feet first? Did you have a way you brainstormed, etc? Have you tried different things in different jams, or found something especially effective/ineffective?

I'm really curious about how other people have been approaching jams, and especially interested in paper prototyping for jams, though I'm not sure how common that is.

(Mockup and Prototype used loosely here, since many of the jam games are still technically prototypes)

I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY YOUR GAMES!!!

Hands down my favorite part of the jam! That and seeing how cute we can make something over a weekend! Space bunny models and planets are coming along right now, so we're already out of snacks.
