First Day - First Jam

Wow, this is a lot of fun. Everyone always complains about the theme for these events, including this one, but I actually had a bunch of fun ideas. My biggest things for this jam are, keep it simple and get it done. I hope everything still remains problem free and I can actually submit a finished game in 39 hours. Off to bed for 6 - 7hours fo sleep, hopefully!

Trading sleep for a music lesson

Well as I drive home from real life activities, I am researching my audio choices (I’m a passenger) and I think Bosca ceoil is what I am going with.

Looks like I will trade some sleep for learning this new program. Tomorrow is all about audio and polish. Boy this jam is tiring ;)

Music went amazing thanks to a helpful blog post

Wow, I just wrote my very first every piece of music. And it is all thanks to a program Bosca Ceoil and an amazing Blog Post that saved me so much headache and time: http://ruoyusun.com/2017/08/29/make-some-music.html also this online tool for chord selection https://autochords.com/

It’s sunday! Figure out publishing

‪Sunday of #ludumdare42 is moving fast with only 5 1/2 hours left to finish. ‬ ‪Luckily I am in a good spot. Fixed some bugs and composed a background music track as well as 5 different sound effects. Time to figure out how to build and publish this game.

I am thinking itch.io but have never used it so hopefully it goes smooth. Anyone have any opinions of game hosting?

Finished my first Ludum Dare! So Amazing!

I have submitted my first game into Ludum Dare!! I am so happy I got it done and in less than 48hours for a full game including art, music and sound effects.‬ ‪It was amazing!‬

‪I invite everyone to play the game and give it a review on https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/the-cave-in‬
