I'm in!

I found a few videos about people playing the games made during this competition and it sparked my interest. I have been working with unity and blender for around half a year in school now as one of my courses, and I decided to join this competition to see how far I have come in this time (and I got nothing better to do :P ).

I will most likely be using: - Unity (Engine) - Visual studio (Code editor) - Bosca ceoil (Music) - Gimp (Texturing / pixel art) - Blender (Modeling)

Idea found, sleep needed...

I have the basic idea for my game: you are in a pit/well and people are dropping different types of boxes from above. Some can be picked up and placed down, others moved sideways, while some are not moveable by the player. By getting higher or getting chests (still need to decide), the player will get upgrades to help him out. The goal is to get as high as possable without being squashed by the boxes.

For today, I managed to get a quick player controller working with standard unity sprites.

I wish ludum dare was more europe friendly with the times though, I have so much I want to do but the energy is draining quick at 2:30 am :P

Quitting for the day, will be back at it tomorrow, for now good luck everyone with your projects :D

Finished the game!

Now I got to find a way to put it online... Any tips for a place to put my unity source code?050cc8ce274d2a2369e7fef85b13676e.png
