Successful Day One
For art we have a good chunk done, still a fair amount of work to do though. tommorow .
On the programming side we have down the essentials, the game concept is fairly simple so I foresee no problems there.

Pretty surprised at our speed, we're about 60% done, with enemy AI and more levels being the only things not started. Our first Ludem Dare has been a blast so far. (Also GIF uploading isnt working so here's an imgur link:) https://imgur.com/a/ntegT
We seriously had time creep up on us and made us cut over half of our planned levels, but (thankfully) we had enough time to get our game out to the Jam. Pretty happy with how it turned out, with more time I would probably be much happier

Ever since participating in my first game jam in 2017, I've been trying my hardest to make it happen again. Unfortunately, the timing has never worked out properly to where I can give it my all. Until this one! I also convinced my girlfriend to join me and I really love what we ended up making. We both are fulltime software engineers so we had to give up a day, but I think the time we put in over the first 3 days made up for it.

If anyone would want to give it a try and let us know what you think it would mean the world to us :) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/58/dirge-of-the-sleeping-bell
