Here we go!
Hi, I go by Jindango on the internet.
I'm super excited to finally be participating in a game jam, hopefully this will be a structured enough of a context that I'll be able to force myself to finally make something.
I'll likely be making a game with python 2.7 and pygame for LD 44.
python 2.7 because I know it really well and it's such a great language for prototyping pygame because it's easy
I'm intentionally avoiding game making tools like Unity and UE4 at least for this first jam because I have never spent much time with them. Also I may be a bit of a hardliner ...
In the incredibly unlikely event that I have time to spare at the end of this and I like what I've made, I may attempt to port it to C++ with SDL2 and OpenGL. I used to know C++ (earlier than C++11) and OpenGL decently well and would really like to get back in to it.
I've casually streamed on twitch programming for fun in the past, mostly for friends to watch. I may do a little more over the course of the jam.

This ought to be fun, can't wait to see the theme!
