I'm new to this, can i use any game engine?

I worked really hard to be able to present a game at this jam. It's my first time participating in this kind of thing, but Unreal Engine took away my opportunity to be judged as a developer. I had errors packaging my project and couldn't do anything. I wish everyone luck. Thanks.
