What a great Ludum Dare, I've already played a couple of really interesting games. This is our 6th entry into the Jam. It was challenging, i'm glad we managed to finish something.

Hey, now that judging has started, we'll be playing LD games on twitch at 6pm EST. We'll be taking recommendations, so send us your game, or just any cool games you've found. You can leave a comment here, or in the Twitch chat and we'll try to get to it.

We've also made a little post jam update you can check out here. It includes: - 3 new levels - Made the movement smoother and added a indicator to show where he will walk to. - Added lighting probes and adjusted the total light intensity. Fixed the keyhole light.

Can't wait to get started. First jam since LD38. Pretty excited to see what everyone comes up with.
Decided on an idea last night. Pretty simple premise, you just have to get the sheep home safe. Took a second to get into the workflow, kind of slow going. It's going to be fun modeling environments. Also, if anyone can tell me what that blue dot in my blender file is, I'd really appreciate it.
Making progress slowly but surely. Doing a bunch of 4 legged walk cycles and they're definitely out of my comfort zone. Rigify in Blender has made it wayyy easier to knock these animations out quickly.
Stayed up all night modeling and laying out the world for our sheep herding game. Still fighting with the skybox to get the lighting right.

Check out our entry Sheep Keep. It's a little shepherding game where you lead your sheep home safely.
Ended up with more of a toy for this version. You can explore the island and the sheep will follow you around hehe. Happy to be able to make something, thanks for checking it out :)
Making a game about a planet full of irate dictators trying to end each other's world (the one they share). You manage quickly degrading trade deals - trying your best to keep these demanding leaders from pushing the button.

Past the grindy start, on to the grindy mid-portion.
Had a blast. Always end up making the last thing I'd expect. This time the "10 second" theme took us to... snail races. Apparently the fastest snail can move 5 inches in 10 seconds. Are you a fast snail? lol
Yes... we tried to make it online multiplayer... no, it does not work very well. Either way, it's way more fun than it has any right to be in the state that it's in. Feedback is very welcome!

Getting into the flow now, @stuffmancer made these wonderful robot character concepts based on distress beacons. What's your favorite?
An abandoned Trello board and a couple long nights later and we managed to make... something! Not exactly what we envisioned, but lots of learning and good times! Can't wait to try everyones games :D
