My first Ludum Dare...
Welp, it has been now 14 hours after the moment i had to stop making the game. What can I say about this jam ? Well, it's been terrible... For me. I started as already tired, but I discovered the harsh way what lack of sleep really meant and what were the real consequences of the lack of sleep... (I'm still too tired to know if it's correct English)
Spending hours on trying to fix a bug while I just forgot to put the correct GameObject on it's public slot, etc etc, such joys, but necessary to progress. And I think I progressed !
So i'm here, with my glitched-ass game, in which the only good side (i think) is that i'm proud of the animation in which Terry (the homeless protagonist of the game, yep I had to find him a name so I could take to hium during my 48-hours isolation) pukes on the ground while walking, if the player eat too much rubbish and smoke too much. I didn't even have the time to balance sound effects volume ! It's a cacophony.. But with homemade sounds (ok, ok, the main menu song was made with GXSCC. I'm miserable) !
Pretty emo, huh ? Well, now that's it's finished, that I probably ruined my digestive system, I think i'll keep a good memory of this jam, even if I get stomped on on the grades (and that would be deserved). I'll say see you next time to you guys, for the next Ludum ! And this one I won't fail !

I was wondering "How can people play my game ? i keept ranting about how i'm ashamed of myself but heck i ain't spilling those last 48 hours on the table like this" then i found out that alot of people published their links. I'm gonna do it too : But be careful m8,it's a downloadable zip, you'll have to arm yourself with courage to play this game, and i hope you ate and drink well enough because this one won't give you many juicy feedback.

But enough with emo shit : I swear it's not that bad, and for once i'm satisfied with the pixel-art. So if you play it, have fun ! (and send me your vidyagaems too cause now that the jam is finished i have stuff to play to get new ideas, and probably a little jealousy)

Which cover is better ? I want to transmiss the absurd ambiance on my game, and I quite can't decide between this image :

Asked some people already but still can't decide : Which one is better as a cover picture, to make people want to at least give an eye to the ld jam page of it ?

Yep, just like I said ! There is now a Mac version of The Harsh Life of Terry the Homeless Dude !
Mac users can now wander through town, eating rubbish, jumping everywhere, stealing rasta dude's vegetal dessert and junkie's funny speed-augmenting green liquid ! Add to that some family barbecue's on rooftop, dark matter blubs that drains your life (don't eat dark matter, bad idea) and super-special-awesome score based on speed, quantity of drugs and rubbish eaten... And maybe you'll know what being in the skin of Terry is like !

PS : I'm pretty open to feedbacks, and of course I want you to send me yur score, I need more of them so I can make a proper leaderboard to see who's the real homeless champion ! Even if I doubt someone will go above 510 000, the dev's personal record ;) .

I can rest in pieces now.
I think I have never been this tired since alot of time. My build is still glitchy (damn unity resolution, whn will you leave me and my 1920 x 1082 alone without making all my buttons worthless) but it is online. So like alot of people i'll make a most mortem :
was afraid of the theme first and i am still afraid of it and i am slightly tired and thats pretty cool i guess and im gonna play so much games because im sure alot of interesting idea are on the website now and that's it
