It’s my first ever Ludum Dare and upon announcement of the subject, my mind was flooded with underwater and below the ground games.

Not content with just doing one of these, I slept on it and #savinggrace was born. It takes a unique stance, and is also a game aimed at kids which is about looking beneath the surface of one’s mind.

So the last time I did Ludum Dare, was 29 for Beneath The Surface…

The Plan: Come up with a decent enough game in the 2 day Ludum Jam… followed by polishing, fine tuning and making it super awesome beyond over 28 days to make up a quality #30daydev.

Don’t you think?… when the very essence of your game gets in the way of making said game.

Life unfortunately demanded more of my attention so the game got less of mine than first hoped.

However, I think it’s pretty unique and neat at its core, if you’re willing to explore a little.

Today I decided to do a a 1st remake version of my entry “A Game Of Life”

The new version is much closer to how I envisaged it should have been, but Ironically life got in the way and I didn’t execute my ideas as well I first hoped.
