Im in.

I already posted an “I’m in”, but I’m going to be making a change.

In my post I said that i would be using JMonkey, I will most likely

be changing my mind.  So here is the list:

Language: Java

IDE: Eclipse OR JMonkey

Engine : Slick2D OR JMonkey

-This will depend on what the topic is and what I feel like using when the

competition starts

Art: Photoshop CS6 and Paint.NET

Modeling: Blender (IF I use JMonkey)

Sound: BFXR

I will also be using SourceForge to host the game files and source code.

Again, I just wanted to add this, so I had all my bases covered.

Yes, I would say that would be okay. That is what I will be using, and I dont want to do an .exe file because then Mac and linux users wont be able to play, so I think that an executable jar will work. I will be hosting everything on SourceForge, mainly because I don’t have a website to host it on. I also will be live streaming my development of my game, should be a fun weekend good luck to you

ARRRGGGG!!!!

I just lost all of my work due to a computer error, my power button got bumped and hard restarted . I am debating on starting over, and suggestions?

I’m In…but might be late

I might, be participating this time, not sure yet.

If I do decide to participate then I will try out something that I just found today:

Scrolling Game Development Kit 2

http://sgdk2.sourceforge.net/download.php

Art: Paint.NET,  PhotoshopCS6

Sound: BFXR, Audacity

Camtasia Studio 8: mainly for recording development

I will also be drinking a lot of sweet tea :)

I wish everyone the best of luck, and I hope that everyone has fun. :)
