I finished my game yesterday ans I was too tired to post any blog post (were I live, the compo finished at 3:00am)

So my game is untitled "The Big Pink thing" who is a reference to the big monster following the player during all the level. In this game, you have a level with a small player that need to reach the end of it, he will get different weapons who will make him moving slower (and of course you need to be faster than the "thing")

this is a small screenshot for you to see how the game looks like ;)

you can download the game here (it should work for Windows and Mac), all you need is to keep the package like when you download it and launch the "Game.jar" file.

Hi everybody, it's just a little post to promote my game :) this is my first Ludlum dare hope you will appreciate the game !

Rate the Game

I posted a new version of my game ! I just changed some controls that are mad for some peoples so you can now play nicely the game ! I'm working on another version with maybe other levels or kind but ill keep my LD version available (with all the bugs :p)

Lets go for this Ludum dare 41 ! (2nd for me) I will use eclipse (java) and photoshop to make my textures and let's see what I can do :p

After 5 hours of maths, I have my physics engine done ! Need to sleep now...

I finally have my assets done for this game... I think I can finish the game at time !

Okayyy day 2 just started good luck to all peoples that are late for the moment !

Today I will do my level editor, my health system and all kind of nice effects to make the game nicer !

But I never explained what kind of game I am doing right ^^ ?

I just finished my health system in my game, now the player can die, but it's not like I intended x) I wanted my health to decrease if the player is not in rhythm with the song but now there is only a line following the player, it's more boring than my first idea but I think that it might be nice though ;)

After about 3hours of code, I have finally finished my level editor and my level loader. It's time to create some levels !

I just made a new menu for my game with simple buttons to play, explain the game and exit it. Hopefully I can finish all the game in 6 hours !

I just uploaded my game ! It was quite hard to combine 2 incompatible genres but I think that my game fits well into the theme : "Car-Driving Plateformer Musical"
