This is my first time with this framworks too so I maybe that I will make something not interesting… But I want to try

So, after 2 hours of developement the news :

1) theme suck, a lot, it’s just a restriction, not a theme !

2) already 5 cups of coffee has been drink ^^

3) I’m not proud of my idea, I’m going to do a simple space invaders clone… With snowmens ^^

The first screen :

This is the first shoot, I didn’t draw the snowmens’ sprite already, so I use an old sprite for the moment.

I’ll be there for the LD#32 !

I’ll dev in JS with Phaser.

To nigth I will be in livestream in order to do some testing.

So, after 3 hours, I got my idea ! I did a litle bit a code and the result is this :

It will be a waves-based game with cool weapons

Juste after my “h+3 post” I decided to change completly ! Basicly, didn’t like my first idea so now, I’m coding a wave-based game like Beat Hazard. But at the start of each waves, the proprieties of your weapon change !

As always, the graphics will come later ^^.

So after 12hours, it’s time to make a litle break.

For now the core is down, I just found a bug but I’m too tired to deal with it ^^’.

Next, I’ll have to make the graphics. I have no good idea yet…..

So let’s talk about my secound Ludumdare. As the last time it was a lot of fun ! And it’s always magic to work with Phaser. BTW Richard Davey (creator of phaser) Posts a link to my game in the phaser website ! And he seems to like it ^^’. Link to the article.

This weekend, I had to work alone, not with my team. So it’s was harder, especially with the graphics that I usually not do.

What went good :

• Good game mechanics.
• I stick with the theme
• I didn’t die to an overdose of coffee like last time ^^’

What went bad :

• I was supose to dev the game in a team but I had to do it alone
• The game can make you dizzy beaucause of the art
• Some function in the code are juste ugly ! Realy ! Don’t look at it please !

I like the game that a produce so I’ll update it ! Make better art, more feedback for the player, maybe some animation ! I’m motivate ! So follow the game on Game Jolt !

This Ludumdare was magic and you will see my for the Ludumdare#33. The main => a multiplayer game !
