Here's evidence of the longest survival time (23 minutes!) I've seen so far in my entry Surge, courtesy of my mate @fazz. I have to admit that the game, while technically endless, is not balanced by this time - I didn't foresee people would or even could make it this far! The gauntlet has been thrown down, you know what to do.

Well this is what I've got so far, a pseudo 3D camper van and some trees. I have a feeling an actual game isn't going to get finished in time...
Last August for LD39 I entered the game Surge. Some people seemed to like it so @fazz and I decided to create an extended and enhanced version called Surge Breaker. Why not play it in browser right now while you're at a loose end waiting for the theme announcement...
Oh, and provided the theme is good I'll probably be in again this Summer.
All life in this universe is merely currency to you. As an unfeeling master species, seed solar systems with life, wait for biomass to accumulate and then harvest it to accrue funds. Attack those systems impertinent enough to try and defend themselves. What level of funds can you accrue?
