After many jams seeing everyone having fun and not having courage to join the party, this time I decided to take some hours of my weekend and give LD48 a shot.. I was worried that, having wife and kids, I would not have enough time to finish something good enough to publish at the end.
And as expected... I could not get done in time for the Compo.
But I pushed some more hours on Monday and was able to finish Deep Sea Adventures in time for submitting for the Jam.

At the end I dedicated about 12 hours of development and some more drawing on the couch with my tablet.
I got a good gameplay loop working and I'm super happy with how the mood and graphics ended up.
But I had a lot more in mind, and much more stuff ready to be added to the game that I ended up having no time to put. Just as an example, take a look at the fishes that I had drawn on the sprite-sheet:

All in all, it was a TON of fun and I'm ready for the next Jam!
Hope you guys like my entry and have some fun catching fishes with a harpoon!
Did I mention you can play on the WEB?
