the good:

i did a ludum dare for the first time in a few years.

i figured out the easiest way to do proper diagonal movement. i created an enemy generator / enemy base / actual enemy system that can take either a timeline of events, a flat number, or a random number and adjusts harder enemies to have a harder system (though right now it's just 1 enemy type appearing somewhat erratically because I only have 1 enemy type). i had a job to do throughout most of it and managed to do a compo entry with basically 6 hours fo actual working time

the bad:

what i actually got done is garbage. i have basically the barest minimum for my concept that can still be called a game. a bit more time and i could've had something interesting, but right now, it's the barest minimum product

the ugly:

probably my face also my doodles the game is MSPaint art. also pov told me on twitter (@magicalfeyfenny) that next time i should contract 'game jam flu' that lasts exactly 72 hours since i don't have enough vacation time. i don't know what the symptomos or treamtent for it is
