Ludum Dare 45

My 2nd Ludum Dare, and i am hyped!

This october i will take part in LD again, missed out august but i am hyped for october! The new starting time means i can actually work on the game a few hours on the very first day, instead of having to crash to bed immediately after the theme reveil :-)

My theme suggestions: * Bread! * Launch this! * culinary shenanigans

See you in the jam!

That concludes the saturday

Basic game mechanics are done. Damage system, player movement, ladders, enemy ai, attacks, and all anim+sounds. Tomorrow, sunday, it will all be level design, playtesting and finetuning playability

Good night friends

"Build 'm up, Shoot 'm down! " is published!

We did it! Our second game produced for the JAM, finished within 72 hours.

Skeletons are attacking, they sabotaged your canon. The parts are scattered troughout the world. You'll have to find them to be able to Build it up, and Shoot 'm all!!

It was a team effort to design, build and test this game in less than 72 hours for the Ludum Dare 45 (www.ldjam.com). It is our 2nd participation in the jam. This time we had the entire weekend planned for this, unlike last time we actually produced this nifty and challenging game. Can you build up the canon?

Have fun with our game!

Greetings from the DataDelft LDjam team: Magus77 and Falien83

Invitation to play our (webGL) game "Build 'm up, Shoot 'm down!"

Not nearly recovered from the blast that LDjam 45 was, we already got some valuable feedback. We are hoping we can get over the 20 ratings threshold this time to get a score, so if you have time to spare please play and review our game.

It's a webGL build so no installing necessary.

Your rating and feedback will be very much appreciated.

Thank you Gamer, and thank you LDjam!

Early release for the Jam for us

This is our LudumDare 48 submission for the JAM. We (Falien and Magus) made this game within 72 hours. The theme for LD48 was “Deeper and Deeper”. We had to release early as for europe it's evening and we can't work on it for this evening.

cover.jpg

In this game you are an adventurer returning home just to discover is has been ransacked. You will go explore the old myth of vast riches underground and in the end meet with a gobblin offering new furniture and items to put in your home.

We ran out of time to provide more levels/maps to gradually really fill the player home. But we hope you will enjoy our alternate ending anyways. Please leave a comment and vote on our Ludum Dare page, link below.

We provided a web-version for easy of testing and a windows stand-alone version for the better quality experience. There is also a world map, but as this includes spoilers we suggest to use it only when necessary.

Enjoy! Greetings from Falien and Magus

Reacto progress

progress_map.png

As we are still Jamming on on Reacto, the progress is getting clear. All game mechanics are in place, as well as all critical sounds and effects! Tomorrow we will do more playtesting, dressing the map much more, add more sounds and effects to spice things up.

Jam on, jammers! Looking forward to play your games!

We published our Jam game: Reacto!

This is Reacto, a game we made for the Ludum Dare 49 challenge with the theme “Unstable"

LeGameReacto.jpg

You work shifts in a nuclear rector and need to keep the reactor stable, preventing a meltdown. The job is stressful so you need to take medicine to keep your sanity. There are all kinds of tasks that pop up and need your immediate attention. Fix them and save the core from meltdown.

Every new shift will be a little bit harder than the previous. Your score is the number of days you managed to prevented the unstable core from meltdown.

You can play the game in the browser, or download the full game. Of course there are still unresolved bugs, we started playtesting quite late, but overall we are very happy with the result for just a weekend with the 2 of us.

Voting and comments for Reacto is greatly appreciated, and we will be happy to play your games as well! See you all in the comment section and at LD50!
