We’re three friends from Sweden, joining the Jam for our first time. We started writing a base with ClanLib but we couldn’t get it to compile on Windows with MinGW, so we just scrapped it and we’re currently stressing with porting it to SDL 1.2 to make it work on both Linux and Windows.

We’ll be using:

• C++
• SDL 1.2
• Qt4
• bfxr
• LMMS for some menu music or whatever, if we by any chance have time left

It’s been quite a while since we last entered in LD22, but we’re finally doing it again. We’re the same 3 Swedish dudes as last time, and this will be our second LD entry.

We’ll be using:

• C++ / Qt5
• GIMP
• Bfxr
• Tiled (if applicable)
• The audio part of SFML if we should require positional audio
• MilkyTracker / LMMS if there’s time left to do music

As usual we will release it for Linux, OS X and Windows.

Our repo is public and we have already started with the basics like rendering. You’ll be able to follow our progress at GitHub. We will also post on our blog during the compo, as well as twitter @ML_Dev.

We’re making a top-down game this time. Hopefully we’ll do better than last time when we had lots of problems with random crashes.

We’ll be using:

• SFML 2.1
• Box2D 2.3.0
• Tiled for map editing
• bfxr
• GIMP
• tmx-parser for map generation (only in the map compiler, not in the actual game)
• Our own GPLv2 licensed top-down “engine” that we prepared for this compo,
  it’s available for all on GitHub

As usual we’re running continous integration of all commits on https://ci.kwarf.com/ where you can always download the latest binaries. We will provide binaries for Linux, Windows and OS X, though OS X is not yet up and running.
