Balancing is hard...

I am going to try to make the game go into the hardest part in about five minutes. That way it won't just be sitting there for 10 minutes.

I see a lot of games for LD that are way to long. With so many games to go through and rate unless your game is really really good most people arn't going to stick around for 30 minutes. I'd say a good length is around 5 minutes. That way most people will be able to get though it without it taking too much time. Even if you want to make it longer and have enough time to make it so that in the first 5 minutes people will understand your game enough to rate it fairly. It's kind of annoying when you have to play for 10 minutes to even get full use of the games main mechanic. I hope this is helpful because I feel like it would be good for both making and rating games.

I'm hoping this will be a nice little detraction to make my other game feel more fresh when I go back to it.
