The Final Boss: Running Out of Powers

I'm done. With no music and sound. With a lot of glitches and bugs. But I made it.

So here is my first LD game: "The Final Boss: Running Out of Powers".

You can read the plot on game's page: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/the-final-boss-running-out-of-powers It is also available in separate .txt-file in game folder in old-fashioned way.

This is a top-down action. It is the final level of hypothetical game. You start with all possible abilities like real commando. But the Final Boss has power to take your powers. So each 30 second you become weaker. The goal is to kill Boss and stay alive. I never did it because of lack of time for testing. Hope, you'll be more lucky.

The Final Boss: Running Out of Powers Update

I made a trailer for my LD 39 entry. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Also I made some minor changes in main menu and fixed couple of UI bugs. Gameplay remained untouched. Though, I ask you to judge only jam's entry to be fair (in Links section).

Check out Field Hospital!

We've made a game about military doctor and moral choices. Some players compare it to Papers, Please! So if it's what you are looking for, we'll be glad to hear your feedback:

Working on postjam version of Field Hospital.

We're overwhelmed with received feedback! Thanks to everyone who played our game.

You spoke and you were heard. The first thing we added was a feature to inspect several patients' cards before making a decision who to treat and whom to refuse.

As our game is narrative-driven we decided to add a notebook for player to collect valuable items and important information regarding main plot of the game.

I'm looking for other physical games to play!

I used to participate almost in every jam, but nowadays I don't have enough time for it. However, as an exercise in game design, I like to check out themes and thinking about what game could I make.

But this time I came out with something I could finish in a weekend - Dice Collectors! It's a really simple tabletop dice game.

So I wonder if there any other physical games? I mean card, board, dice, word games - anything that doesn't require a computer to play.

Drop a link if you've made one or just stumbled accross such a game.

And have a nice upcoming result day!
