A little late, but we're in!

Super excited to be trying a game jam for the first time, always wanted to. Neither of us have any idea what we're doing, so that'll be fun. We're using Godot. Graphics, Pyxel or Clip Studio depending on style we go with. Maybe other stuff? We'll see!

Wrapping things up

Our game is a mess, and not even remotely similar to what the original plan was (which was story based, and now it's a platformer with no story whatsoever.) But it's technically a functioning game, and that's honestly more than I expected. I had a lot of fun with my first Ludum Dare experience, chaotic as it was, and I hope to do another one sometime. My main takeaway from this, I think, is that I need to sit down and figure out a workflow. My work this weekend was super inefficient, I kept jumping between like six different art programs, and that's just totally unnecessary.
