Our game is a mess, and not even remotely similar to what the original plan was (which was story based, and now it's a platformer with no story whatsoever.) But it's technically a functioning game, and that's honestly more than I expected. I had a lot of fun with my first Ludum Dare experience, chaotic as it was, and I hope to do another one sometime. My main takeaway from this, I think, is that I need to sit down and figure out a workflow. My work this weekend was super inefficient, I kept jumping between like six different art programs, and that's just totally unnecessary.
