Golly, it's that time of year again!

I'm definitely going to do my best to take part this time around, hopefully I'll be able to finish my little SDL boilerplate engine on time, as I want to try my hand at c++ gamedev.

Anyway, as usual, I've prepared a couple of wallpapers for the upcoming trial.

I've decided to keep the Floating Islands theme from last year's wallpapers, however I'm going for somewhat of a more realistic style this time around. I hope you like the aesthetic. If so, feel free to download whichever one you like best!

I just remembered I was making a wallpaper for every LD in which I participate. I'm short both on time and energy, so I might've gone a teeny tiny bit minimalist with this one.

...as if this will affect anything. InitialPosition's pyJAMa was a big help with weeding out duplicates and generally annoying, common patterns, though the process remained extremely painful nonetheless.

I can't wait to complain about the theme a week from now, along with all of you. See ya then.

As is tradition, I'm posting this to officially announce I'm in while also providing a low-quality wallpaper I made in an hour. Hope my game won't suck.

Hey! I just managed to build my game, Mole Hole, as wasm code. This means it's the first game written in one of my engines that runs in the browser. It's a lot more laggy and unstable than the desktop version, to be sure, but if you're playing one of my games you're in for a bad time anyway, so I don't imagine that'll take away much from the experience.
You can torture yourself with it here.

Mole Hole's low on ratings, I'd appreciate a couple more so I can see how badly I did after this is all over.
