We learned the hard way that making the game controller required for our game definitely alienated a lot of people in the competition. I really wrongfully assumed that most people had controllers! Also I think making a multiplayer game during quarantine was probably not the best way to go! We mostly made a game for ourselves to play though so pretty happy overall with the result!
