Hi everybody !
I just want to speak about the 2D Light and PostProcess in Unity. It's an important part of my work and I love that ! For this jam I tried for the first time 2D light and URP in Unity and it's just AWESOME !

Universal Render Pipeline
For enabled 2D Light you must use URP. I don't want to make a tutorial here. If you want more information, check this video which helped me a lot during the jam : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkgGyO9VG54 .
Post Process
With postprocess, you can polish easily your game. A little bit of chromatic aberration and bloom, vignetting and lens distortion add spices in your game ! But like spices don't abused them ! :hot_pepper:
Realtime Shadow
I'm impressed by the power of Shadow for 2D Light. It's insane, smooth and quite easy to use. I used it for the night part of my game for advise against rush cause you don't know what's behind the door. ;)
Normal map
With 2D Light and URP you can add a normal map to you sprite. It's impressive ! That add a 3D effect directly ! You can make a normal map with photoshop using your sprite as a base.
Lights !!!!
For me : the best part ! It's very easy to use and you can make what you want ! Lights improved the mood of you game and can be very usefull for your gameplay. For me, I used just one global light for the day. And at night, I light each piece individually so that the player can rediscover it. I tried to reproduce the moon light, TV light, damned baby bed light ect... With good lighting, everything becomes alive.
