hey, i’m brandon. i like trying to make games. i’m very slow usually. i shall take part in this LD18 (my first LD) and try to be less slow. nice to meet yas.

i live in australia. i’ve made an iphone game, a couple ds homebrews, and various old unfinished things…not very experienced though. trial and error. i usually code in c++ but i just decided to learn how to make flash games with flixel, so i’ll be attempting that for LD. i’m using as3/flixel under xcode on a mac. i will make music with goattracker probably. rock on!

oh yeah, i am cucumberoneye on twitter & nyarla on irc.

for some reason I decided to make a game where you control ballroom dancers. i only have very vague ideas. mostly i just keep thinking about a bunch of people twirling around.

nothing too exciting, just learning as3/flixel (which is lovely!)

cursor keys = dance around, space = fling your partner away. knock down the other dancers. you get knocked down if you’re hit whilst already partnered. ;P

needs some AI. and sound. and lots of stuff.

Yo! I didn’t get as much done today as I’d hoped (3:30am here.. 8 hours left.. don’t think I’m going to manage to stay up that long).. still going though.
