I’m In!

Figured I’d drop in and do an “I’m In” post before bed…

This’ll be my second Ludum Dare, the last one was incredible!
I’m hoping this one will be even better!

I’m entering the 48 hour compo, here’s what I’ll be using:
Engine:
Game Maker
Graphics:
MS Paint or Inkscape, depending on the style
Audio:
sfxr for simple sound effects
LSDJ, Korg DS-10, an Etherwave Theremin and a guitar pedal are some of the possibilities for music tools…

If you’re another developer in the CT area and you’ve found me through the LD World Map, get in touch with me through Twitter!  I’m @PacifistGames.  I’m always looking for local game developer friends!  Anyone else, please leave a comment and I’ll be sure to check out your game!

LD25

Motion

All done with my fourth Ludum Dare!
My entry this time around is a minimalistic arcade game called “Motion”!
It’s a game about adaptation, memory, and control!

Play it and let me know what you think!

LD27

I’m In! Ludum Dare 27!

I’m back again for my 5th consecutive Ludum Dare!

Here’s what I’ll be using:

Code: Game Maker 8.1 or Flashdevelop depending on the game idea

Art: Inkscape and Paint

Sound and Music: sfxr, Audacity and likely Propellerhead’s Figure app

I’m super excited, can’t wait to start!
Good luck everyone!

XAMDF

I’m making this post because I may or may not end up using Tolga Kalayci’s xamdf pitch detection algorithm in my game, and I know the rules specify that all base code should be declared beforehand.  The algorithm can be found here for those interested:

http://sandbox.thewikies.com/temp-pitch/com/buraks/tuner/xamdf.as

It is a copyrighted piece of code, but I was able to obtain permission to use it from its creators at manitugroup.comI’m sure they’d give you permission too if you ask.

Good luck with the Dare everyone!

LD 38

I’m In!

Just a quick post to say that I’ll be participating in Ludum Dare 38!
My last Ludum Dare was LD26, so it’s been a while!

I’ll be using a web game engine that I developed myself, called Mudita.  You can find it here if you’re interested.  It’s not quite ready for prime-time, but the website does have a full API and some example projects.

Have a great jam everyone!
