LD49 finished!
Woo! Glad I managed to close this one out. This is the second Ludum Dare I've done, and both have been great experiences. There were only a couple times I was tearing my hair out with this one!
I created A Lively Level Generator entirely in blueprints in Unreal Engine 4. I wanted to learn more about Unreal but also be able to make something fast and I've had some trouble in the past finding resources for programming in Unreal.
A Lively Level Generator is a game taking roguelikes to the extreme. To call it a roguelike is probably very very generous, but that's where the idea came from anyway! There's a 3x3 grid of rooms that never stop randomizing. Hidden among them is a trapdoor that also never stops moving around. Something's up with the level generator and you have to restart it!
I learned a lot this weekend, and had a lot of fun. I hope to return to this concept and see what I can get done in C++.
