Play Game in Dropbox

Hey there!

In preperation for LD 34 I programmed a small game in Unity. Now I wanted to try to upload it to Dropbox so you can play it in the browser. Instead of displaying the webpage I can only download the page. Can someone please help me?

Thanks in advance!

I’ve never seen this done before. I don’t know if Dropbox has the capabilities of running a game in the browser, however sites like newgrounds and gamejolt have that ability. It’s simple to upload to both and it just works. Sorry I could help you with the drop box issue, but I hope that these suggestions will make your life a bit easier during the competition.

Put your HTML file inside your public folder in dropbox. That’s worked for me in the past.

LD 39

I'm in!

Another Ludum Dare! I'm excited. Going to dust of Unity for this I guess...

Little bit of advice please...

I am looking for a way to host my game binaries.

After Dropbox ended it public folder service I tought making a GitHub account and uploading the files there should be an easy solution. Is there anything wrong with that?

Thanks in advance!

Power Plant Tycoon

Have you always been interested in supplying power to a city?

Give it a try in Power Plant Tycoon!

Power Plant Tycoon, or more specifically Power Plant Tycoon or how I learned to fear exponential growth and to love the nuclear power plant (short Power Plant Tycoon or hIltfegatltnpp) is my game for LD 39. It is a very simple game without a lot mechanics but a deadly adversary: exponential grow! screenshot0.png
