This is my first game jam (and actually my first attempt to make a fully playable game)

i was wondering if there is anything i need to do before the jam begging (like downloading software, creating accounts etc.)

also i will be coding in Visual Basic so if anyone is looking for an inexperienced partner I'm quite happy to jump in
