After being hyped for LD40 for the last month I somehow missed the start by a full day. But that's (hopefully) not going to stop me!

After some thinking I've come up with a concept: Feast Logistics

You are hosting a feast, and many people are coming. But your circle of customers/friends/fleeting acquaintances is very split and many people don't like to sit next to each other. So you have to manage who sits where, trying to please as many people as possible and to offend as few as possible. This gets harder the more people come in, because the network of needs gets more complex.

So far, there's a table, and a chair^^

We started a bit late due to time confusion, but @hirnsalat and I are in, and "already" have a concept we're happy with. It's not going to be exciting but rather meditative. At least that's the plan 😅

After a day of wrestling with Godot's physics engine the gameplay is finally coming together.

In the meantime, we're working on backgrounds etc.

There's still some finishing touches left - music needs to be integrated, we need some outlines and a few more assets; and maybe a back-button and some volume controls. But we're pretty pleased with what we've got and how our little experiment plays =)
