Going Good
This is my first LD and I'm making an endless runner! It's going good, I've got most gameplay features done and I'm starting with the graphical and level design now!

This is how it looks so far! I'm gonna add more variation to the level generation, but I'm content with how it looks! (Sorry for the video quality )

There's now a playable version for anyone who wants to test it! https://gamejolt.com/games/speedrun/300844

I really like how things are going right now! Just got done implementing the sound effects in the game!

Next's a better game over screen and death animation!
With 4 hours and 15 minutes to spare, I am done with my game. Now I get to rest and relax! I'm actually content with the game that I've made for this Ludum Dare, considering it's my first!
Hope you have fun ,':D
If you haven't already, come play my endless runner!
My high score is 2072, can you beat it!

I've now added mac and linux builds of speedrun!
I've already received a fair amount of reviews for my game, considering it's my first time and all. But if you still haven't played it please consider doing so :D
The game is playable on Windows, Mac and Linux!
Merry Christmas everyone!
I have made the first version of a remake of my LD40 game. You can see it as a "Christmas present" from me! You can also give it away to anyone precious to you! That's a fine idea, isn't it?
So I just woke up, started brewing my coffee and I'm ready to start brainstorming ideas. This is my second Ludum Dare. My last was LD40. I'm interested to see how this goes. :D
So far it's going good. I'm making a zombie survival game where you need to upgrade your gear, and in the end escape, by paying with the souls of the zombies you kill.
I've gotten the shooting to work. You can now use different weapons with different rates of fire and spreads.
(not final graphics if your wondering)
I think it's pretty safe to say that I'm not gonna finish my game for the jam. There's still a lot to do when it comes to graphics and functionality; I haven't even made a menu yet. That being said, I'm not gonna give up on this project, but I will not work on it right now. I will publish it on my Game Jolt (in profile bio) if I ever get time from other projects to work on it.
While I don't really like the theme of this ld, I've come up with a pretty unique idea I would say. I have only been somewhat productive today. I've mostly worked on the framework for the actual game, but it's gonna be fun to see how it goes. Next, before I go to bed, is to update the game page!
Sneak peek:

I've decided that I don't think my previous idea was very motivating. So I will create a new game that is similar but requires less framework to work. I'll update my game page later...
I realize that, while I now have a pretty rigid idea of what my game should be about, I have other stuff I need to put focus on. Which is why I will put this project aside until I have more time for it

Better late than never, right?
