The game's afoot.

Elegance.

I don't care whether I have time for nitpicking or not, grammar must be obeyed!

Do not trust this stapler.

File management is important when running out of space.
Done in time! This was my 16th Ludum Dare and I had a blast as always. These are my take-home messages:
- Spend as much time on brainstorming ideas as possible and needed. It'll pay off during development.
- Do what you love to do. If you don't like making music, don't make music. If you don't like making graphics, don't make graphics.
- Don't worry about the theme. Just don't.
Can't wait to play your games! :D

The best way to make games...
...is to play them.

10 Compo entries, 7 Jam entries. Never managed to make something worth playing for more than half a minute, but loved every single second of creating it.
Huge thanks to @pov and the Ludum Dare community. Stay awesome and see you all in April!

You guys need to quit whining about the theme.
- Ludum Dare has never been about themes -- it's about making games and having fun. You can make a game and have fun without a theme, and if you really hate it, you can adapt or ignore it.
- The theme is there purely for inspiration, not for putting unnecessary restrictions or challenges on people. and I personally think there is a much better chance of developing new creative ideas when you're presentend with a theme you didn't expect or wish for.
- If you've been participating for several years and still annoyed about themes, you should either rethink your priorities or pick another one of those hundreds of game jams out there. The voting process is democratic, so by definition, the least annoying theme will be picked -- your opinion is no more valuable than everyone else's.
OK, I'm done complaining now. I wish you all a great jam this weekend! :)

Some inspirational quotes from our leaderboard
We made an experimental social game where people can revise (or completely butcher) inspirational quotes, which are then rated by other people. These are some of the gems that have emerged so far:
