Do you know Hollywood? Compo entry!

According to my theories, based on History Channel articles and facts (we all know they only show us the truth with their series), Hollywood was designed by ancient egyptians during a war against #aliens!!

Tillage Fever - Manage your cornfield through market dynamics

Hey y'all I finished my entry for the jam yesterday, it was supposed to be a compo entry (everything was made within a weekend but a bug led me to believe I had more time to polish the entry before submiting it).

The game is about you trying to balance your corn supply for your local market. The idea is pretty simple, just try to create a balance between supply and demand by adding seeds to your field. You will also figure out that a crop gives you lots of score when it finishes its cycle (from seed to spoil) so if your supply is higher than the demand, you will have to sell crops before they complete their life cycle. But...you won't sell the one that are advanced in this cycle, will you? You will sell the ones that have just started. This is called Law of Marginal Utility, the more you have of the same thing, the less utility the last ones will have, therefore less value we apply to it.

Also don't forget of supply-demand dynamics, you will buy/sell crops with a dynamic price depending of the relationship between how much you are offering and how much people really want it. Try to make high scores with this in mind :pig:

You can check the entry at the ludum dare game page
