character design coming along nicely. any thoughts?

too much white? there is nothing such as too much in my project!
when i was starting this project i thought to myself: "this is madness! i have never done a proper project on the unity engine. the most complicated project i had done was a platformer. to make a semi good game under 48 hours? its madness! i cant do it." but i got in anyway. i had basically no knowledge of unity. my skills were so little that it took my a day just to make a tool tip system. it was a big struggle. i had just migrated from Construct 2 to Unity! i felt lost and i still do. i had no idea how to do execute the mechanics. half way through the project i hit the first of many blocks. i was lost. no one that i asked knew what to do. i gave up and switched to C2 thought to myself that i can never do it. i was doing fin. imported all of the animations to C2 and everything was going along nicely. but it didn't felt right. this was supposed to be a journey to get more familiar with unity. not to stick with the old rusty engine i was using for the last 4 years so i deleted the C2 project and went back and through shear brute force i managed to fix the project and continue on. i have attended some jams before but this one was the first one that i was on alien grounds the past 2 days where a mixture of calm and war, stress and relief. it was like going back to my first year of game dev. lots of bumps and curves and confusion was never gone at the end i managed to get through and do make the final push. the game is out and i feel so relieved. after 2 days of stress and loss i am here. at the finish line but this is not the end. even though the last 2 days were one of the most stressful days of my life. i know they wont be the last and i kinda dont want them to be. in this journey i learned alot about unity, programming and game design. i have currently become more comfortable with the engine and the C# lang. now i feel like i can accomplish my goals and do what i want in unity. a feeling that i never had before this jam. but this is the point of a jam right? to make and learn!
well enough about me and more about my project! this was my first project in unity AND it was made in a rush and those are the perfect recipes for bug glore. so dont expect any mind shattering music or gameplay. its more like a walking sim with a twisty story and some Easter eggs! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/winterstorm Enjoy!
I see no God up here
