Welcome to Project Shakespeare VS Monkeys! We're very excited to work on this! I'm PixelTaku, your gracious host and one of the artists on this game! I'm going to try to make semi-regular blog posts, whenever we hit another milestone!

Finally banged out most all of our basic game design stuff, now moving onto concept art and basic controls and scrolling! Got food around midnight, hoping this first day won't wreck us lol!

SO pretty much all of us overslept LOL! I left around the 6 AM mark and crashed super hard. But We're here now (mostly) and ready to grind until the end!

just using free transform for ez squash and stretch work smarter, not harder ;)

After a long day, Shakespeare's movement sprites are done! Gonna take a quick break, make a list of sfx we need to get, then potentially work on boss designs!!

Also we got the monkey assets colored!!

Unfortunately, our team isn't available to continue working for the whole 72 hour jam, so we're going to be ending at the Compo deadline. Life be like that sometimes... But we march on undeterred! I'm currently working on the boss! I don't want to spoil the surprise, but here's a sneak peek for ya!

We also got some help with sfx! Just waiting on the coders to get back so we can put it all together!!

Ludum dare embed isn't working!! I got a link to itch already on the page so it isn't a big deal, and it works on browser there. The issue is that I can neither get it to work nor can I delete the embeds. Can someone help me out?
