I'm in

I'm very excited for this Ludum Dare. Last time I participated, I finished my game but forgot to submit it(go figure). This is going to be my 4th time participating.

Stuff I'll use: - SFML - Sfxr - Gimp - My small amount of music making skill

I'll be sure to stream the event on Twitch

Blurry workstation pic time

As I already said before, I AM IN. Now take a look at this blurry workspace pic. I wish everyone the best of luck. 20170729_010929.jpg

Progress

Halfway I decided to scrap one idea. Now I got a base of the game. Selection_056.png

I'm in

I'm in. I think it's my 5th Ludum Dare. I'll be using C++ and SFML and GIMP for graphics

My progress so far

I started implementing a basic inventory system. I already got level loading and lighting to work. Screenshotem2017-12-04/em00-32-29.png

I am, yet again, in!

I seem to have forgotten about Ludum dare until yesterday. Anyway, I'm in! I'll be using: - C++ with SFML - Gimp for graphics - Sfxr for sound - Lot's of random and procedural noise - My extreme knowledge of the tools I plan to use

Progress so far

I've been working on it for around 4 hours. Currently I have level generation, cursor movement and placement of elements. The game is a text based machine building game, still thinking about the second, incompatible, genre. GIF

More progress updates!

Me building two power generators, two pumps to cool them and two miners to feed them ores, but since I have extreme luck, the generators overheated and blew up on the first tick. GIF

Finished!

Could have been better, but it's still good enough. Took quite a bit of time, most of it spent on all the machines. Hopefully there aren't any bugs. If there are, think of them as features. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/$76557

I'm in

It's still sort of early, but still, I'm in. I'll be using: - C++17 - SFML - Gimp - something for sound/music  - A small set of helper function/classes I'm currently working on

I'm really looking forward to this. I'm planning on having a different approach this time, mainly just using my time more wisely etc. but also trying to focus on the general look & feel of the game, though, it probably wont be too fun or pretty judging by my past games.
