The concept of 'Missing Pieces' revolves around the priceless things that bring meaning to our life. The playable character in 'Missing Pieces' is the player him/herself who is looking for those things which once made him/her feel alive. We tried to narrow it down to the three most wonderful things in life. Art, music, and friendship.

The first level is a reference to our aimless superfun childhood drawing habit. I am pretty much sure we all drew what we liked with all the colors in the world. Maybe as time went on, we forgot how much we enjoyed drawing and paint the world with the colors of our imagination. In the game, your past-self gets back the first missing piece as he walks around the tiles drawing the shape of a heart.

The second level is a reference to our love of listening to music as well as playing it. I, personally remember the first time I tried to play guitar. After some time suddenly I realized that I was playing the first two notes of FΓΌr Elise, a famous musical piece composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Through many trials and errors, finally, I figured out the first few notes of that masterpiece. And it created such a wave of joy!
I am sure many of you can relate to this story. So in the game, your past-self gets back the second missing piece after some trial and error, each time coming to the first notes and rework the notes after, finally creating the first line of FΓΌr Elise.

The third level is a reference to our lost friendships. When you start playing this level it seems you have no clue how to reach your friend who is at a distance. And when you start finding your way, you finally see that the solution was just around the corner. After that, you get back the last missing piece after you re-establish the connection with your friend.
