We recently submitted our first game to LD. We ended up having to reduce scope at the last minute, so we had to cut most of the story telling events. Our original idea for the game was that you were playing as usurper ants trying to overthrow the queen of the bug world, Lady Bug. The sprite for Lady bug is still seen at the end game screen, but her boss battle had to be cut. There's a handful of other fully unused / partially complete bug art that we hope to add to a definitive edition that we release at some point after the jam.
