I attempted several LDs years ago, and actually managed to finish one. (The least said about that, the better.) Drifted away from it all because life got very much in the way. We'll see what happens this weekend!

I have work and caring responsibilities that don't stop -- or even slow down -- at weekends. So there's no guarantee that I'll be able to make time. But I will try.

After thinking about it, and then dreaming about it all night, I think I've got something...

Platformer Tetris.

This is my first effort at doing something in Fusion (apart from tutorials), and it shows. I've been at it all day and don't even have the bare bones hammered out yet. If I can't figure out how to make Li'l Guy climb a ladder when he encounters one, I'll have to abandon the project.

Have sent a plea for help to ClickFusion Academy, and we'll see if anybody answers it by morning. Meanwhile it's 11:30 pm, so I'll need to get some dinner and then do my actual paying job until the small hours.

After struggling all day yesterday, I decided to scrap it and go for a different idea. And THAT was a good idea! Things are going much better with this completely new plan.
