Less than 24 Hours and I'm losing my mind

Every time it rolls around I get so excited and this time its more of the same. In the past I have been unable to finish my entries but this time I'm gonna stay optimistic. I've learned a lot since my last entry, I've become more confident. I don't know if my game will be good but I'm excited to give it my all.

Good luck to everybody else participating! Love y'all!

Finally it's over

Roughly a day later and finally my game has all the bugs fixed and works as intended.

The WebGL build still isn't to the graphical quality that I would like but at this point I have no idea how to fix it. If anyone knows how to realize the graphics on the WebGL build please let me know. Regardless, the downloadable build is how it's supposed to be so I can now put this project to bed.

Excited to see whether people like the game enough to motivate me to make a full post jam release.

If you wanna play my game and leave me feedback here is the link!

Finally Working!

After starting the jam late on Friday at 8pm and only having roughly 19 hours to make a game, I am proud to say that my game is finally up and working!

At the end of the jam yesterday at 3pm, in my sleep deprived state I managed to upload the wrong game and not notice (how dumb can a person be). Anyway, noticed this morning after getting out of work quickly went ahead and uploaded the correct game (glad I didn't mess that up again). This led me to find out that my game wasn't even working in the webgl version. So I then spent an hour attempting to fix the issue and managed to get it to work. Woo!

All of this is to say that I am very tired, very dumb, and would love it if you all would play my game now that it's working!

My game is "Bop To The Chop"!

A rhythm game about chopping trees and relaxing to some music.

It's finally here! I'm in and this time with a friend!

Excited to say I'm gonna be doing a jam with a friend!

Last time I tried grouping up with some friends on a game jam it didn't go the best. Due to some issues with teamwork and communication we ended up scrapping our game after the 2nd day. Looking forward to replacing that memory with some good ones and seeing what I'll learn this time around.

It's nice having someone to work with and be able to split up the work and discuss design decisions with.

Anyway, can't wait to see what game we'll be making!

End of the first day!

Ending off the first day on a high note! Did not like this theme whatsoever but we managed to come up with a fun idea for our game and we hope we can deliver a great game!

See what I did there? Hehe
