Guess I’m ready for my first LD. Still not sure if I’m going for component based or hereditary entities, still no idea how I’m going to make decent graphics.
At least the ‘framework’ is up and running.

Goals:

  1. Beat Notch
  2. Finish game

Greetings out to all you other guys participating (good luck!), .joe, v3nd3tta and Daylen.

Also, kittens.

I’m going to bed

And before that I’m posting the result of the first 1.5 hours hacking away.
I haven’t got any plans what I’m actually going to do yet, but I started coding anyway and this is the result so far: Poor voice ahead

Screenshot covered too.

Here we go again

Guess I’m in again. :)

Will be using the usual stuff, NetBeans IDE, Slick 2D, Gimp, Audacity, bfxr, maybe Blender and My Little Framework (contains a NetBeans project and native libraries, you need to add Slick yourself though)

Compiling FFMPEG right now, maybe I can livestream the whole thing this time.

Anyway, good luck and most importantly have fun everyone!

Finally managed to set up the whole livestreaming thing! :)
I’m currently reworking the concept and will prototype soon, so if you’re interested, tune in!

If you got any questions for me please don’t use the twitch.tv chat but highlight me on the Ludum Dare irc channel

I’m in!

Eeyup!
Back with the usual stuff again…
Here’s my base for Slick 2D: http://hazewood.de/files/index.php?file=ld23_rylius_base.zip

Not sure if I’m gonna use it in the end, but I’ll just post it anyway. :)

I’ll stick with NetBeans as an IDE, Audacity/bfxr for sounds, Gimp and (new!) Inkscape for graphics – kinda the usual stuff.
