Coming along well!
My art is shockingly bad but it's okay because the game is surprisingly fun if you look past it!

All cats will now appear with a random name from a pool!
Need more cat names though so any ideas are welcome.
(Featuring bad art)
It has a few bugs but I'm proud of what i accomplished. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/a-game-about-cats
Been looking through and rating some of the submissions.
Some of you are making me jealous of your mad skillz.
I'm proud of my own submission. I rarely finish games but seeing other people's work has inspired me to actually "complete" a project. It could use a bit of polish but it didn't turn out too bad. :)
Check it out if you havent already!
I'm off to bed now anyway. It's been a long few days.
Til next time!
Just 6 more plays to get a rating! I would really appreciate if you gave it a go and left some feedback. I also now have someone who is an actual artist working on some new art for the game for the sake of polish :)

It's currently 4:30am. I start college at about 9am and Finish around 2pm. I've been up since about midday yesterday.
My plan: In order to maximise working time I am going to push my entire sleeping pattern around 8 hours backwards by staying up the whole of tonight, going to college, coming home around 3 and passing out in my bed. If i get around 8 hours of sleep the I should wake up around 11pm. This will give me time to wake up before the jam starts. Then I can begin work on a full 'nights' rest. Wish me luck bois.

Hit a small slump but its really picked up and I'm gaining momentum :D

Activating objectives while dodging swarms of bullets!

The bossfight for my FPS/Platformer/Bullethell thing is coming along nicely :D
Looking through some of these submissions has blown me away! It's great seeing what everybody has done in such a short amount of time. I threw a bit of a blank on the theme. I liked my LD40 submission more but I care more about what you guys think. I chose to do an FPS/Bullethell/Platformer and I hope you like it :D

Again, great job to everyone :)
After spending about 3 hours this morning playing through peoples submissions I can officially say that I'm jealous of the love and efficiency that goes into the games you people make. I wish I'd thought a bit more about my game idea. I'm not as proud as I was last time but you guys seemed to have enjoyed it so I'm happy with that :)

Anyway, here's a link to my FPS/Bullethell/Platformer if anybody wants to try it out:

The game is coming along brilliantly. Had pretty much all the programming done in the first few hours of crunching away at my keyboard. Time to make it look a bit prettier.
What do you think?

Cosmetic options for your planet are now included in the game. I'm glad I chose a simple concept to give me more time to focus on art instead of just programming. I'm finding a happy balance.

I wasn't expecting to be finished this early. But the game is in a polished state and I'm happy with how it is. I'm struggling to think of things to add.

Thanks to a little encouragement from Quill's stream chat I decided that there was no point wasting time. I pretty much fit the criteria so I decided to submit for the compo!
Now to play some other peoples submissions! Would love if you gave Kessler Syndrome a try!

I was pretty much done and would have just wasted the last day anyway. Super happy with how the game turned out.
Kessler Syndrome! My game about preventing orbital collisions and launching satellites! A test of timing and precision with half-decent programmer art.

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/kessler-syndrome Give it a try if you're interested :)

I've never built a game for Mac and Linux with Unity. How many people are playing /participating on OSX or Linux? Should I bother building for anything other than windows?
Also, any feedback on Kessler Syndrome is appreciated! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/kessler-syndrome
Sadly, work has dragged me away from my computer for a few days and exhausted me. I'm trying to make time to find and play games but I'm. So. Tired.
If you want me to give yours a try, drop it in the comments and I'll give it a go and give some feedback! Until then, maybe give my game 'Kessler Syndrome' a try. It's a game about satellite collisions and space whales ;)

Finally got some time away from work to play some more of these entries. Just looking at the thumbnails is getting me hype.
Thanks to all who played and rated my game since my last post. I'll try and play your games too!

Here's my game if anyone is interested.
Play on my dudes.
